RPh on the Go is seeking a full-time Staff Pharmacist for a busy retail pharmacy in Mount Sterling, Kentucky. This position offers strong technician support, a consistent weekday schedule, and limited Saturday coverage.
Schedule:
- Four weekdays per week, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Saturday coverage approximately 1–2 times per month, 9:00 AM–2:00 PM
Job Duties:
- Verify prescriptions and ensure accuracy
- Counsel patients and answer medication-related questions
- Oversee pharmacy workflow and technician support
- Process and manage prescriptions using PioneerRx
- Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Support daily operations in a high-volume retail environment
- Deliver excellent service to patients and pharmacy staff
- Assist with scheduled Saturday coverage
Requirements:
- Active Kentucky Pharmacist license in good standing
- Recent retail pharmacy experience preferred
- PioneerRx experience preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a high-volume environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Availability to work 1–2 Saturdays per month
Pharmacy Details:
- Pharmacy Setting: Retail Pharmacy
- Prescription Volume: Approximately 3,000 prescriptions per week
- Pharmacy System: PioneerRx
- Weekday staff: 2 pharmacists and 5–6 technicians
- Saturday staff: 1 pharmacist and 3–4 technicians
Pay:
- Starting at $65 per hour, based on experience
