Staff Pharmacist
| LTC Mail Order | 13-Week Contract-to-Hire |
We're hiring a Staff Pharmacist for a Long-Term Care Mail Order pharmacy in Asheville, NC. This is a 13-week contract with the opportunity to transition into a permanent position.
Schedule
Monday-Friday
Four 10-hour shifts
9:00 AM-7:00 PM or 10:00 AM-8:00 PM
Responsibilities
Verify and dispense prescription medications
Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and drug interactions
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure regulatory compliance
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
Supervise pharmacy technicians and support daily pharmacy operations
Assist with sterile compounding and inventory management as needed
Requirements
Active North Carolina Pharmacist license
Minimum of 1 year of pharmacist experience
Long-Term Care or Mail Order experience preferred
Sterile compounding experience is a plus
