These positions require working a week-on, week-off schedule with shifts from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
- Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure safe medication distribution
- Collaborate and consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding patient medication therapy
- Manage pharmacokinetics and therapeutic drug monitoring
- Utilize hospital pharmacy systems including Meditech Magic, Vigilanz, Dose Edge, and Pyxis
Qualifications:
- Active Virginia Pharmacist license is required
- Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload during night shifts
