Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare customized sterile medications, including intravenous fluids, using strict aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety
- Verify the accuracy and safety of all sterile preparations prior to distribution
- Enforce compliance with USP and state pharmacy standards to maintain quality and safety
- Supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians in a low-volume setting
- Maintain and monitor cleanroom equipment and environment to meet regulatory standards
- Conduct final inspections of sterile products before release
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- PA pharmacist license, clear and active
- Minimum of 1 year of recent sterile compounding experience, particularly in home infusion or IV admixtures
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy software systems
