What are the responsibilities and job description for the Planner- Materials & Production position at RPC Company?
This role is supporting both production scheduling and materials planning within a mission-critical electronics manufacturing environment.
Perform capacity planning to support production schedules and customer demand
- Develop and maintain production plans and material requirements
- Analyze supply chain data to ensure material availability
- Partner with Production, Materials, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams
- Use Excel and planning data to analyze forecasts, capacity, and constraints
- Provide data-driven insights and reporting
- Identify risks such as material shortages or capacity limitations
- Communicate planning updates and risks to cross-functional teams
Required Qualifications
- Capacity Planning experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong Excel skills for planning, analysis, and reporting
- Solid Supply Chain understanding
- Experience with data analysis and forecasting
- Background in both Materials planning and Production planning
- Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of electronic components or electronics manufacturing
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
