Operational Duties
- Enforce that all servicing functions in the department are carried out in compliance with client, state and federal policies and regulations as well as company policies and expectations
- Loan portfolio balancing including loan group transfers, write offs, charge offs, remediation research, and other special handling loan maintenance
- Coordinate with MIS and other internal partners to develop and execute business initiatives
- Monthly billing support for HOA and loan clients including invoicing
- Audit packages for lenders, auditors and financial institutions
- Deposit operating cash receipts
- Supervision of 3 to 20 employees
- Upgrade system of policies, internal controls and accounting standards
- Continual check on system maintenance reports to be sure they are up to date.
- Assist Finance and Accounting with month end reconciliations for loan portfolios to balance loan and cash transactions as needed
- Operate as Subject Matter Expert (SME) of client portfolios, processes, compliance requirements
- Other duties as assigned
NLS Platform Management
- Serve as the operational subject-matter expert for NLS, ensuring accurate configuration, utilization, and reporting.
- Partner with IT, compliance, and servicing teams to troubleshoot NLS issues and support system enhancements or upgrades.
- Oversee data integrity, loan boarding accuracy, transaction posting, and reporting outputs within NLS.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-5 years of operations management experience within subprime or non-prime lending.
- Hands-on experience with National Loan Servicing (NLS) required.
- Strong knowledge of loan servicing, collections, payment processing, and customer service operations.
- Demonstrated understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in consumer lending.
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
