Medium Voltage Test Technician needed in Phoenix, AZ.

We are hiring a Medium Voltage Test Technician for a power distribution equipment manufacturer in Phoenix, AZ. This medium voltage technician role needs real MV switchgear test experience, ideally someone who's done NETA acceptance testing or commissioning on medium voltage switchgear in a data center.
This position works in one location, first shift.
REQUIREMENTS
- Medium voltage testing experience (switchgear at 1kV and above, such as 4.16kV, 12kV, 13.8kV, or 34.5kV class).
- NETA acceptance testing or commissioning experience on medium voltage switchgear, data center commissioning strongly preferred
- Comfortable with megohmmeters, micro-ohmmeters, partial discharge detectors, and relay test sets
JOB DUTIES
Final medium voltage switchgear test and sign-off before shipment — insulation resistance testing, dielectric withstand (hipot) testing, contact resistance testing on breaker contacts, partial discharge testing, relay coordination testing, and full documentation on every unit.
