Maintenance Manager

Maintenance Manager in Carrollton, TX manufactures flavor ingredients that can be found in consumer products that people across the U.S. and around the world use every day.

In this role you will be responsible for output from maintenance team, overview of maintenance spares inventory, uptime of production assets and upkeep of facilities and doing so with highest regard for Occupational and Food safety requirements.

The Maintenance manager will also be instrumental in strategizing plant upgrades, process improvements and technical support on delivering Capex projects to maximize output and capacity release. This position reports to the Site Plant Manager and be a key member of the Operations leadership team.

• Technical qualification in either Electrical or Mechanical Field and 10 plus years industrial maintenance experience and 5 plus years of supervisory experience
• Experience with MRO/stock parts, permit issues, and PM plans.
• Experience with Electrical, Instrumentation and Control Systems.
• Ability to climb stairs/ladders along with the ability to work above floor surface (heights).
• Strong team player with an ability to work with all functional teams within the plant.
• Self-starter with good organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to organize and lead group discussions.
• Successful experience initiating productivity improvements to include implementation of new equipment or new process
• Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and Food and Safety Practices.
• Excellent knowledge of Safe Behaviors and Practices

Experience required

• Process Safety Management (PSM).
• Six Sigma/ Lean Manufacturing training
