What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fleet Operations Manager position at RPC Company?
A national leader in forming, shoring, scaffolding, and access equipment is hiring a Fleet Operations Manager to run its Rialto branch — the fleet, the yard, and a crew of 10–12 plus temp labor.
$130k base plus bonus, full medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, PTO and holidays. Real budget and real authority at branch level, with a national organization behind you and room to move up.
You own equipment availability. What's on hand, what's on rent, what's committed, what's coming back. You decide whether an order fills locally or pulls from another yard, keep repairs prioritized, and get trucks out complete when orders change late.
You'll need:
- 5 years in yard, warehouse, logistics, rental, distribution, or materials management
- Supervisory time over hourly crews and temp labor
- Real inventory discipline — cycle counts, reconciliation, clean data
- Ability to read stock status reports and engineered construction drawings
- Excel plus experience with an ERP or WMS
- Forming, shoring, scaffolding, or concrete rental experience is a plus.
- bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required.
