What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Coordinator position at Roylo Partners?
An unresolved client request should never disappear simply because it crossed from one team to another. We are seeking an Operations Coordinator in St. Louis to maintain clear ownership, accurate records, and timely follow-up across daily service workflows.
This is an associate-level position working full time on site in St. Louis, Missouri. You will coordinate requests and operational information, support colleagues handling client accounts, and help identify the issues that repeatedly slow completion.
Make the queue understandable
- Review new requests and check that the information needed for processing is present.
- Assign or route work according to established procedures and responsibility limits.
- Maintain status records so the next colleague can see the latest action.
- Follow up on pending items and escalate overdue or unusual cases.
- Compare completed records with source information to identify discrepancies.
- Prepare summaries of workload, outstanding issues, and recurring exceptions.
Close the loop on exceptions
An incorrect reference, missing approval, or conflicting instruction may require several people to resolve. You will document the issue, obtain clarification from the appropriate source, and update the record when a decision is made. You will not make account or policy decisions outside your authority.
You will also help maintain process notes when approved procedures change. Small improvements should make the next case easier to handle without introducing unofficial shortcuts.
Experience with responsibility
One to two years in operations support, customer service administration, account support, or a related role is helpful. Experience handling a shared inbox or a tracked service queue is particularly relevant. A specific industry background is not required.
Bring spreadsheet confidence, careful written communication, and a methodical approach to confidential information. You should be comfortable balancing response times with accuracy and explaining why an issue needs escalation. Equivalent practical experience is valued alongside formal education.
