Royal Productions is an audiovisual services company partnering with hotels to provide excellent event experiences utilizing current technology while exceeding hospitality management and guest expectations.
This position reports to the Director of Sales. The Sales Manager is responsible for assisting the Director of Sales and Event Audio Visual Technology team by selling equipment and services for events with a special focus on events under 80 ppl and under and pop-up events. The Sales Manager will complete sales orders, proposals, and other event sales related activities for hospitality clientele. Providing general sales administration support including order entry, opportunity management, and customer follow-up.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Sales Support and Coordination
- Directly sell smaller events such as Event Order (EO) bookings, Exhibitors & Expo Events, affiliate business, and In-Conjunction-With (ICW) events as well as Catering pop-up events.
- Handles customers’ requests by phone, Zoom, email, and other channels. Follow up with internal and external customers for all event details.
- Close business by obtaining commitment to buy while maximizing revenue and adhering to event profit guidelines and adhering to Hospitality production & event guidelines.
- Effectively utilize time to promptly respond to customer requests. Personal greeting clients when on property
- Facilitate strong information exchange with aligned venue leadership teams. Assists with hotel relationships.
- Double checking daily hotel reports against our internal system to ensure proper event success.
- Ensure CRM/ERS is always accurate and up to date as possible.
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School diploma; BS/BA is preferred or 1 years of sales/event experience.
- Prior technology, sales, hospitality, or event planning experience a plus.
- Technical aptitude and proficiency with computer software and programs.
- Strong written and oral communication skills needed to effectively solicit and close business via phone/email.
- Will train the right candidate

Work Environment
- Work is performed in a hospitality/office/ event setting. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Hospitality partners based on an office environment. The working conditions will vary between moderately quiet to noisy volumes and at times will include irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings and weekends.
