What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packaging Technician D position at Royal Oak Enterprises, LLC?
Position Summary: Royal Oak is lookin for a Packaging Technician D. This position is responsible for the operation of the machines required to paclage charcoal briquets. Packaging technicians are able to operate one of the following pieces of equipment: Scales, Bagger, Sewing Machine, Checkweigher, Bundler, Robot, Wrapper, and/or Trunkline.
Position Requirements/Qualifications:
LOTO Certified within 14-days of position/hire
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
- Able to operate equipment at standard run rates
- Able to identify critical elements on each machine
- Able to perform basic corrective actions
- Able to perform a change over w/ assistance
- Maintain a clean work area
- Identify quality issues
- May involve repetitive movements
- Lifting up to 60 Ibs
- Frequent bending, stooping, pushing and pulling as necessary
- Due to the open environment of the packaging area, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions
