We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join our New York team as a Fulfillment Operations Specialist. As an integral part of our operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment to meet our customers’ needs.
This position is not limited to the duties listed below, and the employee may be asked to perform other related duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
Shop Communication & Order Processing:
- Serve as the main point of contact for dispensaries and retail shops regarding order inquiries, updates, and special requests.
- Enter all incoming orders into Distru and Metrc accurately and efficiently.
- Print and review sales orders to confirm accuracy before fulfillment.
- Escalate any order discrepancies or issues promptly to minimize disruption to shop operations.
Customer Satisfaction & Issue Resolution:
- Resolve fulfillment-related issues, including delayed orders, incorrect shipments, and returns with timely and effective solutions.
Daily Fulfillment Operations:
- Manage day-to-day fulfillment activities, ensuring all customer orders are processed, packed, and shipped accurately and on time.
- Ensure workflows are efficient and aligned with business needs, adjusting processes as necessary to meet deadlines.
Inventory & Quality Control:
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the Operations team to ensure products are properly labeled, stored, and tracked.
- Maintain compliance with state regulations and company quality standards.
- Conduct routine audits to identify and resolve discrepancies between physical and track-and-trace inventory.
- Maintain and update inventory spreadsheets daily.
Process Optimization:
- Continuously improve fulfillment processes to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Analyze key metrics (order accuracy, cycle time, shipping performance) to drive improvements.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in a fulfillment or compliance-focused role.
- Experience with Metrc.
- Proficiency in Windows and Google Workspace/Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Sheets).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of inventory management, shipping processes, and quality control standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage shifting priorities and deadlines.
