We are seeking a motivated individual to help develop and run our manufacturing operations in our Monee, IL location. Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor and General Manager, the Laboratory Technician will be responsible for running the daily activities associated with the manufacturing train. The ideal candidate will have experience using computers (Microsoft excel, google sheets), proficient at math (percentages, fractions, etc.), and capable of maintaining a clean and organized lab setting, and maintaining a high level of organization and communication with our other team members.

Laboratory Technician - Job Responsibilities
Daily Duties (including but not limited to):
Filling out and updating Master Batch Records and Manufacturing Logs: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of batch formulations and process parameters across all data streams
Organize Laboratory: Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment, including equipment, supplies, and workstations. Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
Assist with Manufacturing tasks: Support manufacturing operations by carrying out assigned tasks, such as finishing, measuring, and recording the day's distillation run, performing tasks for decarboxylation (baking, grinding, sifting), running the extractor, and assist with Drink Loud production.
Formulate, Fill and Cap Cartridges: Collaborate with Laboratory Supervisor to formulate, fill, and cap specific strains and products according to predetermined requirements.
Update Track & Trace: Update with accurate and up-to-date information on cannabis inventory and compliance to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
Assisting in Material Intake: Effectively assist with the receiving of materials into the laboratory in strict accordance with established intake procedure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Additional Responsibilities
The Laboratory Technician may be assigned other tasks and responsibilities by the Laboratory Managers and General Manager, including but not limited to:
Conducting routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Preparing and sterilizing laboratory equipment and supplies.
Collecting and preparing samples for analysis.
Operating laboratory instruments and equipment, following established procedures.
Participating in quality control and quality assurance activities as needed.
Assisting in data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
Contributing to the development and implementation of new products, laboratory protocols, and procedures.
Qualifications
High School Diploma.
Proven experience as a Laboratory Technician or in a similar role.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Familiarity with laboratory procedures, safety protocols, and quality control standards.
Proficient in using laboratory instruments and equipment.
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Adherence to ethical standards and safety regulations.
