Role Description
We are seeking an HR Manager to oversee and drive all aspects of our people operations across our organization. This role oversees a small HR team and ensures all core functions—recruiting, payroll and benefits, training and development, employee relations, and onboarding/offboarding—run smoothly, consistently, and in alignment with company goals. This individual will need to provide hands-on support for the various HR functions.
You will play a key role in supporting managers, resolving employee issues, and ensuring policies and practices are applied fairly and in alignment with the needs of the business. This role blends leadership and execution, with responsibility for guiding the team while also directly supporting key HR functions as needed. This role will report directly to the COO.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop a small HR team across recruiting, payroll/benefits, and employee experience, ensuring effective execution of all core HR functions
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations while coaching managers on performance issues, addressing workplace concerns, and conducting terminations
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a consistent, professional employee experience
- Manage and administer the LMS, oversee training programs, and conduct sessions for employees and managers (onboarding, compliance, development)
- Ensure HR policies, practices, and processes are applied consistently and in compliance with employment laws and company objectives
- Maintain HR data integrity and reporting across systems to support decision-making and compliance
- Partner with leadership to support organizational needs with a focus on execution and follow-through
- Identify and implement improvements to HR processes, systems, and overall operations
- Provide hands-on support across recruiting, payroll, and benefits as needed during peak periods or team gaps
- 3 years of progressive HR experience across multiple functional areas (employee relations, recruiting, payroll/benefits, etc.)
- Prior experience leading or managing team members
- Experience handling employee relations issues, including performance management and terminations
- Ability to balance employee experience with business needs and make sound, practical decisions
- Comfortable operating in a hands-on role, with a willingness to step into day-to-day HR activities as needed
