Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team! In this vital role, you will be the friendly face that greets customers and processes transactions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register and POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to handle retail sales transactions with accuracy.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting golfers warmly and answering questions.
• Manage cash drawer handling, ensuring proper cash handling procedures and balancing registers at shift end.
• Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and maintaining organized checkout areas to enhance shop presentation.
• Support inventory management through stock replenishment.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Apply basic math skills for processing payments, giving correct change, and completing sales reports accurately.
• Assist in cashier training or supervising experience as needed to ensure smooth checkout operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is a plus but not required.
• Proficiency with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math calculations is a benefit but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on friendly communication and positive attitude.
• Ability to handle cash handling responsibilities accurately while maintaining attention to detail is required.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are required.
• Basic math skills for managing transactions efficiently and accurately balancing cash drawers is a necessity.

Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week
