The Opportunity
As Production Planner, you will take full ownership of assigned product lines, ensuring sales orders are fulfilled on time through effective material coordination, shortage management, and production planning.
This is a hands-on, business-critical role where strong MRP knowledge, proactive decision-making, and clear communication will directly impact delivery performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse new orders to determine material requirements and availability using MRP
- Quote and maintain accurate shipment dates based on supplier and production lead times
- Expedite material and parts through manufacturing and external vendors to resolve shortages
- Control allocation of incoming materials to meet priority delivery schedules
- Communicate material risks, shortages, and recovery plans with operations and stakeholders
- Develop shipment schedules and monitor supply flow to prevent bottlenecks
The ideal Production Planner will bring:
- 4 years of planning experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong working knowledge of MRP systems, production processes, and procurement functions
- Ability to manage competing priorities through collaboration and clear communication
- Experience monitoring supply flow risks and maintaining delivery performance
- High attention to detail with a proactive, accountable working style
Compensation : Up to $110k (DOE)
