Excavation Operator/Pipe Layer

Hiring immediately in Detroit, MI! America's # 1 plumbing company is growing, and we have an excellent opportunity for a skilled Excavation Pipelayer for sewer & water services repairs/replacements. Must be able to assist with digging trenches for sewers & experience with plumbing and laying sewer lines.

Salary based on experience and skill set.

Ideal candidates will have experience in Excavation, Jack Hammering & Pipe Laying

Valid driver's license is a must!

Below are the qualifications and requirements to join our team:

• Measuring and configuring pipe routes.
• Gathering material and installation tools.
• Digging trenches using hand and machine trenching tools.
• Locating installed piping systems using magnetic or radio indicators.
• Removing old or broken piping systems.
• Laying pipe into trenches and applying pipe spacers.
• Cut pipe to required lengths.
• Installing auxiliary lines.
• Sealing exposed pipe joints and fittings.
• Filling and sealing pipe trenches.
• Assists with loading or unloading trucks as needed.
