We're hiring a dependable Construction Demolition and Cleanup Technician to work on residential and commercial properties throughout the Blacksburg area. You'll assist with demolition, removal of damaged building materials, debris cleanup, jobsite preparation, and other hands-on projects.

Previous construction or demolition experience is helpful, but it is not required. We're willing to train hardworking candidates who are dependable, comfortable with physical work, and interested in learning a skilled trade.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll work alongside our team on residential and commercial projects requiring demolition, material removal, cleanup, and property preparation.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Perform demolition and tear-out work using hand and power tools
• Remove damaged drywall, flooring, insulation, cabinets, and other building materials
• Load, move, and dispose of construction materials and debris
• Assist with cleanup of residential and commercial properties
• Prepare and organize work areas before projects begin
• Protect areas of the property that are not part of the project
• Move tools, equipment, and materials throughout jobsites
• Assist with water removal and property cleanup when needed
• Set up equipment used during cleanup and restoration projects
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites
• Clean and properly store tools and equipment after use
• Follow established safety procedures and job instructions
• Work efficiently with other crew members to complete projects
• Communicate professionally when working in customers' homes and businesses

• Able to work independently and as part of a crew
• Professional and respectful when working on customers' properties
• In possession of a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Previous experience in construction, demolition, restoration, remodeling, maintenance, plumbing, HVAC, landscaping, warehouse work, or another hands-on trade is preferred but not required.
