Mitigation Specialist

Responsibilities

• Assist with or lead water extraction, drying, and cleanup services in residential and commercial environments
• Respond quickly to water damage situations and help restore properties efficiently and professionally
• Work closely with team members to return properties to their pre-loss condition
• Communicate with customers on-site, providing updates and a high level of service during stressful situations
• Ensure accurate documentation and follow established restoration protocols and safety standards

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in water restoration, construction, or general labor is a plus (but not required—we will train the right candidate)
• IICRC certification (Water Damage Restoration, Applied Structural Drying) is a plus
• Ability to work on-call, evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed
• Comfortable working in physically demanding environments (lifting, bending, standing for extended periods)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes and safety procedures
• Basic mechanical or technical aptitude
• Experience using moisture meters, air movers, dehumidifiers, or other restoration equipment (preferred)
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to also work independently when needed
