Roswell Park is seeking a visionary and collaborative physician leader to serve as Chair of the Department of Internal Medicine.
This department plays a vital and distinct role within the institution. Complementing the Department of Medicine—which houses medical oncology subspecialties—the Department of Internal Medicine brings together general internists and key subspecialists to deliver comprehensive, high-acuity care for patients with complex oncologic needs.

License Or Certification Requirement
Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, or international equivalent and prior full-time experience in the field of oncology either as a general internist or subspecialist in internal medicine.

Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

- Strong alignment with multidisciplinary, team-based care models

Qualifications:
License Or Certification Requirement
- License or permit to practice as a physician in the State of New York.
- Possession of or eligibility for a valid board certification in Internal Medicine and/or Internal Medicine subspecialty eligibility for a valid medical specialty certificate in Medical Oncology or a specialty of Hematologic Oncology, Bone Marrow Transplantation, Solid Tumor/Investigational Therapeutics, Pulmonary Medicine, and Infectious Diseases.
