Summary
Serves as the program leader and developer for multiple organization safety and compliance programs. The primary focus will include Hazardous Materials Management from cradle to grave, including chemicals, pharmaceuticals and waste, Research Lab Safety program, employee incident investigation/classification, Workforce Safety Committee member, and incorporation of High Reliability Practices into the OES program. This position will also serve as the Chemical Hygiene Officer for the Facility. Starting salary is $103,034.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
Preferred Qualifications
2 or more years’ experience managing a hazardous materials program in a healthcare or research facility

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
- Doctorate degree in a relevant field and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time professional work experience in a safety related capacity; or
- Master’s degree in a relevant field and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time professional work experience in a safety related capacity.
