Position Overview:
Ross Intermediate School is seeking a Long-Term Substitute Intervention Specialist beginning March 23, 2026, for a minimum duration of four weeks. The successful candidate will provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities, implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and collaborate with staff to support student learning and progress.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction aligned with student IEP goals
- Implement accommodations and modifications within the general education setting
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and building staff
- Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals
- Maintain appropriate records and communication with staff and administration
- Support a positive and inclusive learning environment
Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license preferred
- Appropriate substitute teaching license required
- Experience working with students with disabilities preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
