7–12 Family and Consumer Science Teacher

Ross Local School District is seeking qualified applicants for a 7–12 Family and Consumer Science Teacher position at Ross Middle School for the upcoming school year.

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio teaching license/certification in Family and Consumer Sciences appropriate for grades 7–12
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, families, and the community
• Knowledge of current instructional practices and state standards
• Willingness to contribute to the overall school community

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging instruction in Family and Consumer Science courses for students in grades 7–12
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with colleagues, counselors, and administration to support student success
• Participate in professional development and district initiatives
