Sales Associate

The Sales Associate serves as a key customer contact, assisting with merchandise selection, operating the cash register, stocking, and store upkeep to enhance profitability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities Include

• Providing excellent customer service, greeting and assisting customers.
• Operating cash register, processing transactions, and handling merchandise.
• Following merchandise procedures: unpacking, stocking, and creating displays.
• Maintaining store cleanliness, including cleaning floors, restrooms, and setting up displays.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safety policies and basic cash handling procedures.
• Ability to read planograms and merchandise presentation guides.
• Basic math skills and ability to perform cash register functions.
• Ability to stock merchandise and handle equipment such as scanners and carts.
  
  

Preferred Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Work Conditions: Frequent standing, bending, and lifting up to 40-55 pounds; occasional climbing; fast-paced environment with moderate noise; exposure to weather conditions.
