Part-Time Deli/Bakery Associate

Role Overview: This position involves independently preparing, packaging, displaying, and stocking deli and bakery products to contribute to store profitability while ensuring excellent guest experience and adherence to safety and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce bakery/deli items according to production plans.
• Package, label, and merchandise products per plan and merchandising expectations.
• Stock backroom with fresh products, rotating and dating cases appropriately.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to support store growth.
• Notify management of supply needs and follow all safety, food safety, PPE, and cleanliness guidelines.
• Assist in other departments as needed based on customer service requirements.
• Maintain effective communication regarding tasks, recipes, and cleaning procedures.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least one year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Basic math, reading, writing, and comprehension skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to interpret documents and perform basic calculations.
  
  

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical tasks such as bending and twisting in varied store environments.
