Duties
- Assist in the preparation of baked goods, ensuring high quality and presentation standards are met.
- Prepare chicken, sandwiches, salads, etc.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and bakery area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing customer transactions accurately.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and making recommendations.
- Upsell products to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed.
- Follow recipes and instructions for food preparation while maintaining consistency in product quality.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Experience in food preparation or the food industry is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating POS systems is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of retail math for basic inventory management is beneficial.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Familiarity with sanitation practices and kitchen safety protocols is essential.
