Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to fill the role of Customer Service Representative at our local bakery. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a crucial role in ensuring their satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced bakery environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering their questions in a timely and professional manner.
- Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately, handling customer transactions
- Use basic math skills to handle cash and make change accurately.
- Maintain a clean work area as mandated by South Dakota Department of Health
- Use a commercial dishwasher
- Mop floors

Scheduled hours are:
Friday 5am-12:15pm
Saturday 5am-12:15pm
Tuesday 5am-10am
Wednesday 5am-10am
Thursday 5am-10am
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Proven customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in cash handling and operating cash registers
- Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing
- Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices
- Experience in the food service or retail industry, particularly in quick service settings
