Electrical Engineer

Role Overview: Lead hardware development for advanced LIDAR systems, managing the entire lifecycle from concept to high-volume production. Collaborate across teams to design, validate, and troubleshoot complex electrical systems, ensuring they meet size, weight, power, and functionality constraints.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, test, and deliver integrated electrical systems, including analog and digital circuits.
• Develop system architecture and oversee schematic capture, layout, validation, and production readiness.
• Identify and resolve complex hardware failures through root-cause analysis.
• Work closely with firmware and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration and manufacturing quality.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• 12 years experience in electrical design, testing, and delivery of complex systems.
• Expertise in analog/digital circuits, embedded SoC (DSP, ARM, FPGA), and communication interfaces (Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, USB).
• Proficiency with Altium or similar tools, especially in high-density multi-layer PCB design.
• Strong documentation skills for design requirements and testing processes.

• Experience with analog ASICs, photonics electronics, scripting languages like Python, high-volume manufacturing, and functional safety standards.
