Automotive Technician

Role: Automotive Technician

Responsibilities: Diagnose, repair, and perform complex vehicle repairs following safety and quality standards. Accurately complete multi-point inspections, explain technical issues to customers and team members, and recommend necessary services. Maintain ASE certifications and adhere to MAP guidelines. Ensure customer vehicle maintenance and repairs are completed efficiently and correctly to promote high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Skills

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license
• Experience or training equivalent to ASE certification preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a shop environment, including standing, bending, and lifting up to 70 pounds
• Strong communication skills and attention to safety protocols
  
  

Key Duties: Diagnose vehicles, perform repairs, document work, and explain repairs to customers. Follow safety procedures, maintain certifications, and ensure quality workmanship. Work in varying environmental conditions, using PPE as necessary.

Physical & Working Conditions: Ability to stand for long periods, bend, kneel, lift heavy objects, and work in noisy, dusty, and temperature-variable environments. Reasonable accommodations may be provided for individuals with disabilities.
