Comments and Other Information
Working under the guidance of the VAPA Director, this position supports our visual and performing arts program(s). The assistant will provide general assistance, which may include supporting practices and rehearsals; providing support during performances and other events; helping with set-up, clean-up, and other logistical tasks; and performing all duties as assigned to ensure the success of the program.
Qualifications:
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Familiarity with school-based VAPA environments, community art programs, or event production is highly preferred.
