What are the responsibilities and job description for the RAFC Security Officer position at Rosen Hotels & Resorts?
Summary:
Provide outstanding guest service by protecting RAFC guests, employees, members, and property while maintaining a safe and secure environment based on RAFC Standards. Responsible for enforcing Rosen Aquatic and Fitness Center policies/regulations and ensuring the observation of applicable laws by surveying the property for potential danger/distractions to the enjoyment of the members, guests, and employees.
Responsibilities:
- Continuously patrol the RAFC property to ensure the safety and security of members, guests, employees, and assets.
- Challenge and fully identify any suspicious person(s) that may interrupt the orderly operation of RAFC while limiting liability.
- Be thoroughly familiar with RAFC fire and emergency disaster procedures.
- Be thoroughly familiar with the RAFC Emergency Action Plan and procedures.
- Be an ambassador of goodwill and provide outstanding guest service to all visitors and employees of RAFC.
- Provide First Aid, CPR, and Blood Borne Pathogen services to guests and employees needing any such services.
- Maintain proficiency in using specialized equipment needed to perform as a First Aid Response Team member.
- Equipment includes flashlight, CPR Mask, and rubber gloves.
- Act as primary and secondary responders to provide immediate medical first aid to any injured guest or employee of RAFC.
- Maintain a current certification in CPR and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator.
- Initial training and recertification will be scheduled and funded by RAFC.
- To assist with access control maintaining a safe and friendly environment for all members, guests, and associates.
- Hourly facility walk-throughs to ensure that access control is being followed and all access points are checked and closed throughout operations.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Ability to lift- up to 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. infrequently.
- Must have an updated valid driver's license
- Must be able to legally work in the USA.
- Ability to pass company security written test
Education and Certification(s)/License(s):
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
