Job Description

The Director for Admissions and Enrollment for the College of Pharmacy is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the full admissions lifecycle, including recruitment, application review, interviews, offers, and matriculation of prospective students. This position will work collaboratively with the University’s Centralized Student Recruitment Office to implement enrollment strategies, ensures compliance with institutional and accreditation standards, and provides guidance and support to applicants throughout the admissions process. The role requires strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders while promoting the mission and programs of the College of Pharmacy.

Essential Functions

• Lead the Office of Admissions and Student Enrollment for the College of Pharmacy across the Nevada and Utah campuses.
• Support qualified applicants through the Admissions process including interviews, offers, and acceptance.
• Accurately review transcripts to ensure prospective students meet all accreditation and college requirements.
• Effectively communicate the benefits of Roseman’s Six-Point Mastery Learning Model to prospective students when presenting to individuals and groups on campus.
• Collaborate with service units including Marketing and Communications.
• Develop and monitor statistical reports to enhance student enrollment in the college management, forecasting and operational efficiency.
• Serve as a member of the Admissions Committee and other college or university committees as deemed appropriate.
• Maintain consistent and dependable on-site engagement, meeting the operational needs of the College through regular attendance and a professional presence of 40 hours per week in alignment with the University's flexible workplace policy.
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is required
• Experience with PharmCAS or other CAS system
• Prior administrative experience preferred.
• Previous experience in an academic or pharmacy setting preferred.
