Essential Functions
- Clinical teaching utilizing a proactive and engaged learning model.
- Didactic teaching utilizing Mastery Learning.
- Utilize evidence‑based science in didactic and clinical teaching.
- Integrate Biomedical Science in didactic and clinical teaching.
- Oversee and provide patient care as needed in the College’s clinics.
- Manage and assess resident progress toward competency.
- Maintain standardization in clinic operations and approved treatment modalities.
- Acquire certification in applicable specialty areas within one year of hire.
- Adapt to current and future technologies used at the College of Dental Medicine (e.g., digital impressions, clinical data entry).
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation of clinical activities, student/resident evaluations, and patient care in accordance with institutional and regulatory standards.
- DDS/DMD degree from a CODA‑accredited U.S. or Canadian dental school or equivalent.
- Must be eligible for licensure in Nevada at the time of application and obtain licensure within 3 months of hire.
