Provide safe, efficient support in the operating room as part of a collaborative OR team.
- Prepare operating rooms by setting up instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- Maintain strict sterile technique throughout procedures.
- Arrange and maintain required instruments and supplies to support smooth case flow.
- Anticipate surgeon needs and assist during surgical procedures as directed.
- Ensure accurate instrument, sponge, and needle counts.
- Handle specimens appropriately and support accurate labeling/processing.
- Partner with the surgical team to optimize patient safety and care outcomes.
- Detail-oriented with strong focus on sterility, safety, and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based OR environment.
- Strong organizational skills and reliable attention to counts and specimen handling.
