The Role
As a Delivery Technician, you are the face of our company. You will deliver essential medical equipment (like hospital beds, oxygen concentrators, and wheelchairs) that improve the quality of life for our patients. You will be responsible for transporting, assembling, and demonstrating how to safely use this equipment in patients' homes. Your positive attitude and excellent customer service skills will ensure timely deliveries while providing a great experience for clients.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver: Safely transport medical equipment to patient residences and healthcare facilities, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Assembly: Assemble equipment on-site (e.g., setting up hospital beds). Don't worry—we provide full hands-on training!
- Educate: Briefly walk patients and caregivers through the basic operation and safety of their new equipment.
- Safety First: Perform basic equipment maintenance and ensure all items are cleaned and sanitized per protocol
- Documentation: Verify delivery orders and ensure accuracy in shipments before departure and upon arrival. Document delivery activities accurately, including mileage logs, delivery confirmations, and incident reports when necessary
- Customer Service: Engage professionally with patients during deliveries, answering questions, and addressing concerns
- Route Planning: Plan routes effectively to optimize delivery schedules and minimize delays
- Maintenance: Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure safety and operational readiness

- Reliability: A clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, push, and pull, load, unload, heavy equipment safely, navigate stairs when necessary; physical stamina required for moving large or bulky goods.
- Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage delivery logs and basic paperwork accurately.
- Experience: Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with a strong focus on customer service, familiarity with route driving, load & unload procedures, and traffic regulations
