Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, friendly, and professional service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using advanced POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring seamless transactions
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage tables efficiently by bussing, resetting, and maintaining cleanliness to uphold sanitation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering duties, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, maintaining food safety and sanitation protocols
- Utilize reservation management platforms like OpenTable to coordinate guest seating and optimize restaurant flow
- Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and fostering a welcoming environment
- Assist with food handling, food preparation, and sanitation tasks as needed to support overall restaurant operations
- Demonstrate strong time management skills to balance multiple tables while delivering consistent service quality
Experience
- Proven experience as a server in a high-volume or fine dining restaurant environment is required
- Extensive knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable is essential
- Prior experience with culinary techniques or kitchen experience is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability in upselling, sales techniques, and guest services within the food industry
- Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience working in nightlife venues or nightclubs is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong skills in serving, bussing, host/host duties, cashiering, and guest relations are highly valued
- Ability to manage time effectively while multitasking during busy service hours
