Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and personalized service to guests, ensuring their experience exceeds expectations from greeting to farewell
• Take accurate orders using POS systems, ensuring efficiency and clarity
• Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales while maintaining genuine guest engagement
• Handle food and beverage delivery promptly, coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables and assisting with food handling and preparation when needed
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately through cashiering duties and basic math skills
• Support guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns swiftly, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere
• Assist with food safety protocols and sanitation practices to uphold health standards in food service operations

Qualifications

• Proven 2 years experience as a server in high volume full service restaurants, with a strong background hospitality
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Knowledge of food industry standards including food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle diverse guest needs
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining professionalism
• Previous experience in nightclub or high-volume restaurant settings is advantageous
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and inventory management
