Position Summary: The Operations Manager plays a crucial role to lead, collaborate and develop team members; setting standards on directing and coordinating all activities of the production and warehouse. The Operations Manager will work cross functionally and interact with many key stakeholders. 

The Blueprint for Success - Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop project scopes, objectives and communication, involving all relevant stakeholders

• Schedule new approved jobs in estimated location on the calendar or based on requested start date

• Create Slack  group for new approved jobs

• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentations (ie. Material Tracking app)

• Review with material handling department upcoming project delivery dates

• Monitor Acumatica to ensure project managers are updating the production status and provide necessary paperwork

• Recruit, select, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel, and discipline team members

• Manage staff levels, wages, hours, contract labor to revenues

• Responsible for all department managers and supervisors, with review/approval responsibility for all operational team members

• Ensure resource availability and allocation, including overall staffing needs

• Measure project performance utilizing appropriate systems, tools and techniques

• Provide leadership for the team by building and motivating team members to meet key performance indicators (KPI)

• Work closely with GM and management team to set and/or implement policies, procedures, and systems and to follow through with implementation

• Perform all work in strict accordance with scope, directions, specifications and OSHA rules, regulations and company policies.

• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations

• Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews: prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality, and customer- service standards; resolve problems; complete audits; identify needs

• Forecast requirements; prepare an annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyze variances; initiating corrective actions

• Meet or exceed operations labor budgets expectations

• Provide technical support and guidance to personnel as required.

• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, communicate project updates, and manage expectations to ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
