Position: Floor Technician
Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Availability: Flexible shifts and hours based on client needs
Experience: Required (see qualifications below)
Other Requirements: Highly motivated; valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
The Floor Technician will perform a wide range of floor care and maintenance duties, including:
- Stripping & Refinishing Vinyl Floors: Apply proper techniques, chemicals, and equipment to strip and refinish vinyl flooring.
- Carpet Cleaning: Clean carpets using hot water extraction, dry cleaning, spot treatment, and other professional methods.
- Floor Buffing & Polishing: Maintain shine and surface quality on hardwood, marble, tile, and other flooring types.
- Tile & Grout Restoration: Deep clean and restore tile and grout using specialized tools and procedures.
- Window Cleaning: Clean interior and exterior windows and glass surfaces in commercial environments.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in commercial floor maintenance (stripping, waxing, buffing, etc.)
- Knowledge of floor care chemicals and their safe, proper usage
- Ability to operate and maintain equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, and extractors
- Strong attention to detail and dedication to high-quality work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation
