Material Requirements Planning Controller (MRPC) - Make
Indianapolis, IN
As an MRPC Make for Rolls-Royce, you’ll be responsible for planning and controlling schedules, as well as coordinating with manufacturing operations to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials are timed to meet customer requirements. You’ll have the opportunity to work with management and internal customers, advising them of the work in progress status, material availability and potential production obstacles to ensure on time delivery.

Key Accountabilities:
- Working with manufacturing to create and implement a credible plan that meets customer requirements
- Ensuring all raw materials available for production via system scheduling and by working closely with purchasing group
- Follow Work-In-Process (WIP) Cycle Count and floor store count process to maintain system accuracy of material ensuring timely transactions of any discrepancies
- Maintaining Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems with robust and credible data that creates suitable supply elements that support the delivery of the customer demands/requirements
- Communicating with cross functional teams and the production team for a clear understanding of the customer
- Facilitating the logistics methods for delivery and movement of parts

Basic requirements:
- An Associate’s degree in Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Supply Chain or Operations with 3+ years experience in a supply chain or operations environment OR;
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Supply Chain or Operations with 1+ years experience in a supply chain or operations environment OR;
- A Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Supply Chain or Operations with 0+ years experience in a supply chain or operations environment OR;
- A JD/PhD with 0+ years experience in a supply chain or operations environment OR;
- In lieu of a degree, 5+ years experience in a supply chain or operations environment
- In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be a US citizen
Preferred Requirements:
- Systems Applications and Products (SAP) and/or Material Requirements Planning (MRP) System experience
- Familiarity with load and capacity and Bills of Materials (BOM’s)
- Union environment experience
