The Club Mechanical Maintenance Worker is a hands-on lead role responsible for supporting the overall MEP infrastructure, safety, and functionality of Rolling Rock Club's facilities and equipment. This role performs a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks across the clubhouse, residences, and grounds, ensuring all areas are well-maintained and operating efficiently. The position plays a critical role in preserving the Club's standards, appearance, and traditions while providing timely support for daily operations and special events.

Essential Funtions
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs to HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, boilers, chillers, hot and cold side commercial kitchen appliances, and overall building mechanical infrastructure.
- Ability to cross train coworkers in facility mechanical systems, able to demonstrate general understanding of how equipment operates.
- Identify utility waste, implement best sustainability practices throughout equipment control operations.
- Adhere to fire, trade, and building codes. Correct deficiencies as needed.
- Maintain seasonal Club's pool facilities, including monitoring and servicing filtration systems.
- Diagnose and complete plumbing repairs, including leaks, clogged drains, and fixture replacements.
- Ensure workshop and maintenance areas are kept safe, clean, and well-organized.
- Respond promptly and effectively to maintenance emergencies as needed.
- Lead by example with a self-motivated and proactive approach to duties, identifying and addressing needs without direct supervision.
- Respects the Club's customs and traditions and works to preserve Rolling Rock Club as a "quiet country English Manor".
- Other related assignments as necessary.
- Maintains regular, consistent and reliable attendance.
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent required: technical or trade school expereince.
- 5-8 years of experience in HVAC/R maintenance, facilities or related field.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, kitchen equipment and mechanical systems.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and preventative maintenance.
- Ability to follow direction and complete tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver's license.
- Universal CFC.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and safety.
- Following guidance and direction from senior management effectively, efficiently, and appropriately.
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across multiple maintenance disciplines.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Physical capability to perform manual labor, including lifting, climbing, and prolonged standing.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to identify maintenance needs before they become issues.
- Fundamental time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work, both with a team and independntly.
- Ability to problem solve and react quickly to any issues which arise during a shift.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally more with assistance.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and climb for extended periods of time (8-10 hours per shift).
- Ability to work in a variety of environments, including indoor and outdoor conditions, and exposure to varying temperatures.
- Ability to safely use ladders, stairs, and maintenance equipment while working at heights.
- Manual dexterity to operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions such as lifting, reaching, and carrying.
- Visual and auditory ability to identify maintenance issues and respond to alarms or equipment malfuntions.
