What are the responsibilities and job description for the OVERHEAD DOOR / GARAGE DOOR INSTALLER position at Rolling Door Manufacturing?
We are an established overhead door subcontractor seeking experienced Overhead Door and Garage Doors Installers to support ongoing and upcoming residential, commercial and industrial projects. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience installing Sectional, Overhead, rolling steel, High Speed Doors or motorized door systems, and be able to work independently while meeting project schedules and safety standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience installing residential, commercial/industrial overhead door systems
- Knowledge of door operators, motors, and control systems (final connections experience preferred)
- Ability to read shop drawings and follow manufacturer specifications
- Ability to work at heights and lift heavy materials
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA certification
- Experience with rolling steel, sectional, high-speed, or specialty doors
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Forklift and manlift certifications
