Schedule: 8am - 12pm; Tuesday - Saturday
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate engaging wellness programs and exercise classes.
- Encourage and support maximum resident participation.
- Manage facility operations including check-in/out procedures, equipment logs, and communication tracking.
- Assist in developing personalized fitness programs for residents and staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of wellness and storage spaces.
- Open and close the wellness facilities, ensuring all materials and signage are prepared.
- Provide personal training orientations and ongoing one-on-one fitness sessions.
- Collaborate with the Wellness Manager on promotional materials, event planning, and activities.
- Regularly attend staff meetings and one-on-one check-ins.
- Promote programs via flyers, electronic postings, and other media.
- Participate in relevant conferences and department-related meetings.
- Help set and track activity goals.
- Comfortable speaking in front of groups and on camera.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to support resident wellness plans.
- Familiar with exercise machines and fitness room equipment.
- CPR, First Aid, and Professional Training certifications preferred — or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire.
- Valid Oregon Driver’s License.
- Comfortable with basic computer programs: MS Office, Google Drive, Spreadsheets, Email, etc.
- A natural communicator and motivator, both in-person and virtually.
