What You’ll Be Doing

We are seeking a Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation while delivering an inviting, resident‑centered experience that supports independence and quality of life.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide transportation for residents to medical appointments, errands, outings, special events, and other destinations according to established guidelines.
- Operate community vehicles, including those equipped with wheelchair lifts, in a safe and professional manner and in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
- Assist residents in and out of vehicles and load and unload walkers and wheelchairs with care and professionalism.
- Perform pre‑trip inspections, minor preventive maintenance, maintain interior cleanliness of vehicles, and promptly report any damage or safety concerns.
- Participate in required training, remain knowledgeable of emergency procedures, respond calmly in emergency situations, and perform other duties as assigned.
- One year of experience driving passenger vehicles, buses, or providing transportation services preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet PRS employment driver guidelines; CDL preferred as required by position.
- Ability to operate wheelchair lifts and assist passengers safely.
- Strong customer service skills with a courteous, attentive, and professional approach.
- Comfortable working with residents and maintaining composure in emergency situations.
