Job Overview
We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinists and Manual Machinists to join our dynamic manufacturing team. You do not have to have both skills.. We are hiring for both positions.
Must have 3-5 years of CNC and/or Manual machining experience to be considered.
In this role, you will operate and set up a variety of machining equipment to produce precision metal components, ensuring high-quality standards are met consistently. Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines such as CNC lathes and milling machines, including programming with CNC G-code and Fanuc controls, to produce precise components according to blueprints and specifications.
- Perform manual machining tasks using tools like lathes, grinders, calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and hand tools to achieve tight tolerances.
- Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and manufacturing specifications to ensure accurate production.
- Set up machines by installing tooling, fixtures, and measuring instruments; verify machine calibration using precision measurement instruments.
- Conduct quality inspections during and after machining processes utilizing measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and other precision instruments.
- Maintain machine tools by performing routine maintenance, adjustments, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with team members on lean manufacturing initiatives, tooling improvements, and process enhancements for increased efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery including CNC milling machines and CNC lathes; familiarity with Fanuc controls is preferred and/or Strong manual machining skills with proficiency in using hand tools, grinders, calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other precision measurement devices.
- Ability to read mechanical blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of CNC programming languages such as G-code and M-code; experience with CAM programming software like SolidWorks or CAD is advantageous.
- Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of machining tools, tooling setup, machine calibration, and basic math skills for measurement calculations.
- Experience in manufacturing environments involving metal machining or plastics injection molding is a plus.
- Ability to work safely with power tools, welding equipment, forklifts (certification preferred), and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control standards; familiarity with GD&T principles is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced setting.

Pay: $25.00 - $42.00 per hour
