What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) – Beaverton position at RAP Manual Therapy?
RAP Manual Therapy and Massage is seeking a skilled, professional, and upbeat Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) to join our supportive and client-focused clinic in Beaverton. We are committed to creating a positive, safe, and collaborative environment for both our clients and our team.
We are a preferred provider with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS/Regence) and partnered with the Veterans Affairs (VA) to provide massage therapy to veterans. If you are not yet credentialed with these networks, we will begin the credentialing process immediately upon hiring and support you throughout.
Position Overview
This is a part-time position — 2 days per week. We are looking for a reliable therapist who can commit to a consistent schedule. Additional days may become available as your client base grows.

- Guaranteed base pay for the first 4 months to support your ramp-up: For each scheduled shift, you will earn the higher of $33 per possible booking or 50% commission on services provided that day

Please note: We do not offer health insurance or paid time off.
Schedule & Onboarding
- Part-time schedule: 2 days per week
- We aim to have you seeing clients within approximately 2 weeks of hire
- VA credentialing typically takes about 1 month
- BCBS/Regence credentialing typically takes about 3 months
You will begin seeing cash/self-pay clients and BCBS clients while credentialing progresses. Once VA credentialing is complete, you will also be able to see VA clients.
Punctuality is essential. Therapists are expected to arrive at least 15 minutes before their first appointment to prepare the room, review client notes, and mentally focus for the day.
Qualifications
- Active Oregon LMT license and current malpractice insurance
- Strong skills in deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and clinical massage
- Solid understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Professional, reliable, and committed to punctuality
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience with insured clients is a plus, but not required
