We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. This role involves providing therapeutic massage services to clients, focusing on pain management, relaxation, and overall wellness. The Massage Therapist will work closely with clients to assess their needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client needs.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual conditions.
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy to communicate effectively with clients and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide exceptional patient service, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for all clients.
- Maintain accurate records of treatments provided and client progress.
- Collaborate with other health professionals in occupational health settings as needed.
- Stay updated on the latest techniques and trends in massage therapy to enhance service offerings.
Requirements
- Valid state certification or license in massage therapy.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Experience in pain management techniques is preferred.
- Familiarity with trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage methods.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient assessment and service.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Previous experience in a med spa or similar setting is a plus.
