What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Assembly Technician position at Rogerson Aircraft Equipment Group?
We are looking to hire - Assembly Technician to join our RAEG Team: we are a privately held aviation corporation with over 40 years of delivering quality products to support and service the aerospace industry.
Summary: Assemble, test, calibrate various components and sub-assemblies, and operate various assembly and test equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assemble various types of mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies for control valves, pressure gauges, and lavatories.
- Ability to operate various test equipment, Power Supply, Multi-meter, Flowmeter, Hi-Pot, etc.
- Perform acceptance testing on test equipment and record results as required.
- Follow manufacturing routers and engineering drawings during assembly operations.
- Comply with company procedures and aerospace industry requirements regarding traceability and recordkeeping.
- Meet or exceed quality and productivity standards.
- Maintain proper housekeeping of personal workspace and surrounding area.
- Perform work in a safe manner, including wearing/utilizing proper safety equipment as required.
- Other tasks and duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school graduate, ability to read engineering drawings. Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
Experience: Two or more years related to aerospace electro-mechanical assembly experience required. Ability to understand engineering drawings and operate test equipment required.

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
