Get Real Experience
- Walk job sites alongside our Safety Director, identifying hazards and implementing solutions
- Participate in incident investigations and learn root cause analysis
- Conduct safety inspections and audits on active construction projects
- Lead toolbox talks and safety meetings with field crews
- Help new employees understand our safety culture from day one
- Support subcontractors in meeting safety compliance requirements
- Contribute to safety program development and improvements
- Track safety metrics and help tell our safety story through data
- Gain exposure to OSHA regulations and construction safety standards
- Learn from seasoned safety professionals with decades of experience
- Develop skills in communication, problem-solving, and leadership
- Build a network across one of Texas' most respected construction companies
Education & Experience
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Safety Management, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field
- Completed at least 2 years of coursework
- Passion for construction and commitment to safety excellence
- Strong work ethic and genuine care for people
- Excellent communication skills—you can talk to anyone from laborers to executives
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Comfortable working in active construction environments
- Self-motivated and eager to learn
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to walk job sites in various weather conditions
- Comfortable climbing ladders, stairs, and scaffolding
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
- Willing to wear required PPE (we will provide it)
